The workshop ‘Hai Phong enterprises make export breakthroughs with Amazon’ opens opportunities for companies in the city to access cross-border e-commerce and expand into global markets.

The Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with Amazon Global Selling Vietnam, organized the workshop “Hai Phong enterprises make export breakthroughs with Amazon” on December 12.
The workshop aims to support the business community in accessing cross-border e-commerce and expanding direct export channels to global consumers.

At the workshop, leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade provided an overview of policies and programs supporting the development of e-commerce and exports in the sector, contributing to the effective implementation of the National Master Plan for E-commerce Development for the 2021–2025 period and the city’s action plans.
Speaking at the workshop, Ngo Thi Bich Thuan (Natalie), Director of Strategic Market Development at Amazon Global Selling Vietnam, said Amazon is opening up many opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises in general and Hai Phong ones in particular to develop business-to-consumer exports directly to global consumers.

Amazon Global Selling Vietnam has been implementing tailored support programs for local enterprises, ranging from training and operational consulting for online stores, logistics, digital marketing, to brand building and compliance with international standards.
Bach Hong Son, Business Director of Megaficus Company, also analyzed lessons from the successes of Vietnamese enterprises in the US Amazon market, thereby pointing out key factors that help sellers achieve sustainable growth and gradually conquer the billion-USD-scale market.

In addition to thematic sessions, the workshop also devoted time to discussion and direct question-and-answer sessions between Hai Phong enterprises and Amazon Global Selling experts, focusing on sound start-up strategies for new sellers, product selection, brand building, operational optimization, and addressing issues related to logistics and digital marketing.
Service providers also participated in one-on-one consultations, connecting enterprises with experts to help remove difficulties in the process of selling on Amazon.
