Domestic fuel prices were kept unchanged in the latest review on March 14 as authorities tapped the fuel price stabilization fund, with support of up to 5,000 VND per liter.

The Department of Domestic Market Management and Development under the Ministry of Industry and Trade said retail prices of petroleum products would remain unchanged from the price adjustment on March 12, in a move aimed at stabilizing the market and limiting negative impacts on socio-economic activities.
According to Official Dispatch No. 671 issued on March 14, the government continued to use the stabilization fund to support fuel prices. Biofuel and unleaded gasoline received support of 4,000 VND per liter. Kerosene and fuel oil were supported at 4,000 VND per liter and 4,000 VND per kilogram respectively, while diesel received the highest support of 5,000 VND per liter.
