The year 2025 marked a strong recovery in export activities, particularly across key sectors such as electronics, components, coffee and seafood. Notably, administrative procedures have seen significant improvement. These efforts have not only facilitated business operations but also enhanced transparency and helped curb negative practices in public administration.
Breakthroughs through institutions and digital transformation
All sustainable development begins with a stable institutional foundation. Drawing from practical experience in Hung Yen province, Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial Business Association Do Van Ve noted that the key factor enabling businesses to confidently make long-term investments is the transparency of the legal system.
A sound institutional framework provides the foundation, while technology drives enterprise growth. Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Business Association Nguyen Van Thoi stressed that digital transformation is no longer an experimental trend, it has become an inevitable requirement for sustainable development.” However, he also cautioned that technology is merely a tool, while the mindset of business leaders is the decisive factor.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are identified as a pioneers. With their flexibility, SMEs can take the lead in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), high-tech agriculture and smart logistics.
Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Association Pham Van Triem emphasized that with their adaptability, SMEs are well positioned to pioneer innovation in these new sectors.
As the Government continues efforts to build a transparent administrative system, while enterprises proactively enhance their digital capabilities, starting with leadership mindset, and as large numbers of SMEs are given opportunities through flexible pilot mechanisms, a momentum for robust economic growth will be generated.
