Special zone’s harbor in Gulf of Tonkin

The harbor of Bach Long Vi special zone has been in operation since 2001. Today, hundreds of fishing boats come in and out daily to refuel and trade goods. Most importantly, it serves as a safe anchorage and storm shelter for fishermen’s boats.

Hai Phong calls 1,476 boats and vessels to safe shelter ahead of storm No. 5

Localities and relevant units in Hai Phong city have jointly checked and notified 1,609 vessels, 164 fish cages, and 3 watch huts about the developments of storm No. 5 to proactively take preventive measures.
Boats banned from going to sea, coastal recreation suspended

All tourist and aquaculture activities in coastal and island areas of Hai Phong city must be suspended in response to Storm Wipha.
