According to a report by the city People’s Committee, the Aeon Hai Duong Shopping Centre project has so far completed about 85% of its construction workload, meeting the planned schedule.
The investor and contractors have basically completed the commercial building structure and are currently finishing equipment installation, parking areas and other external facilities.
The Aeon Hai Duong is expected to be completed and put into operation in the third quarter of 2026.
It is one of the city’s 31 key projects in 2026 and is financed with non-budget capital.
The project is invested by AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd. with a total investment of nearly VND2 trillion. Construction began in April 2025.
The project is located in Thach Khoi Ward, in the eastern area of Vo Nguyen Giap Road.
This is the largest commercial project ever developed in the western area of the city, with a total floor area of nearly 3.6 hectares.
